About the Group
The TIPS research group in the Computing Institute at Federal University of Alagoas (IC/UFAL), Brazil, is primarily devoted to develop projects at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering fields by researching and implementing solutions to complex problems. Its research mainly involves applications for Computers and Education, Collaborative work, and Social Web.
Therefore, the TIPS' mission is to effectively integrate human and software agents aiming to carry out research into creating the next generation of intelligent, interactive, personalized, social and autonomous systems. Additionally, the group intends to work with consultancy and training, as well as with technology transfer.
TIPS’ impacts have been measured by its published articles in journals and in conferences, and also by developed prototypes and products of software systems according to its research focus.
